Seeing Grace

When the wind goes quiet,
And my heart's in silence,
And the world around me's fading away,

When words aren't spoken,
And storms aren't for hopin',
When everything else looks away...

That's when I see Grace
Shining down on me
When all the world is a haze.
Through the darkness I hear,
A still small voice that says,
"I've been here always."

When I've walked in silence,
Amidst the shadows in despair,
And when I'd become one myself,

There was but one reason,
That kept me believing,
When everything else looked away.
